Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! I have only just recently set this up as a part of my Journalism course so its all a bit new to me so please feel free to look around comment on anything you like, positive and negative feedback is welcome; i like to know what i am doing right and wrong so i can learn from it.
I guess you would like to know a little about me… this is really tough as its hard to write about yourself as you don’t want to sound to full of your self but i will give it a try, if i don’t like it i will just edit it, and you wont see it! 
My name is Emma Jackson, i am 20-sumin young adult and currently a Undergraduate student at the University of Winchester, I’m studying a degree in Journalism and i decided to take the single honour route. I chose this pathway as i have always loved Journalism, one particular memory i can remember is when i was in Spain someone asked me what i wanted to be when i grew up and i said a Journalist. I think i got laughed at thinking back now, but i was adamant that is what i wanted to be. So here i am… 
now on a course to do what i have always wanted to do, i love to write i find it flows so easily from my fingers and through my head. I am thinking of writing a book but i have no idea where to start! I think i will leave that till i have more time on my hands…. but back to Journalism.
I am a very determined, head strong, focussed and willing to succeed at anything i set my mind too. I will be trying hard to keep this page of mine updated frequently and fresh, bringing in new ideas and changing other bits i have on already. As i have previously said positive and negative feedback is wanted, dont be afriad if you dont like something just comment why not; if you are a professional Journalist thank you for reading through my page… please consider me for a job hahahaha… sorry i did have to try.

I am a professional journalist and I am giving you the job of writing a ‘think’ piece for me about starting off as a blogger which I will then edit and post up on Winchester News Online when it is up and running.

i will update this blog, however i am very busy with work and uni work that i usually atm not have loads of time to do this. I finish uni for this yr very soon as you know so as soon as this week or nxt week ends i will update very fequently!! promise!
