HORRIFIC details were disclosed to juries today as the rape case against Ian Peters and Toby Peters commenced at Winchester Crown Court.

Father Ian Peters, 48 and his son Toby Peters now 22 were charged with rape and two counts of indecent assault on two girls on April 11th 2007.

Ian Peters was quizzed by Prosecution solicitor Miss Kerry Maylin, who suggested that he: “ forced the eldest child to take part in sexual intercourse against her will.”

The vulnerable children who were only aged 6 and 8 lived with their mother and her partner Ian Paters before his son moved in around March 1999.

Allegations also surrounded Toby Peters who has been accused by both girls of rape during his one year stay at their home when he was just 15 yrs old.

While looking petrified Toby Peters told the  juries that he was innocent of the allegations against him, the police constable who arrested him told his Honour Judge A Barnett that: “ Toby Peters was confused when we arrested him but very cooperative with our investigations.”

The two victim’s evidence was played to the court room via a video at the beginning of the case; however with such an immense time elapsed from when the alleged incident took place there is no forensic evidence for the prosecution to use.

Mr Ian Peters and Toby Peter’s deny the charges against them as their trial continues.
